Multicultural Australia’s Building Skills for the Future program has recorded a 100 per cent completion rate among its latest graduates, with the program also named a regional finalist in the Queensland Training Awards for the second time, highlighting its focus on building employment and vocational pathways for participants.
The graduates completed Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways, gaining skills and confidence to pursue their next steps in education and employment.
The programme is delivered by Multicultural Australia in partnership with Aurora Training Institute (RTO Code 32237) and is funded through the Queensland Government’s Skills for Queensland initiative.
According to Multicultural Australia, the latest graduates achieved a 100 per cent completion rate, marking a milestone for the programme and the team supporting its delivery.
The programme’s recognition as a regional finalist in the Queensland Training Awards for the second time has also highlighted its contribution to vocational training and the efforts of those involved in delivering it.
The training is designed to help participants develop foundational skills needed for further study, employment and vocational pathways.
Multicultural Australia said many of the graduates had already secured employment or progressed to Certificate III studies, allowing them to continue building on the skills gained through the programme.
The organisation also recognised the graduates and the team that supported them throughout their training.
The programme forms part of efforts to provide participants from diverse backgrounds with opportunities to strengthen their skills, confidence and access to further education and employment pathways.
