Indian Youth Festival, where various Punjabi artists performed their talented dance styles, was held on 25 July at Roma Street Parklands in Brisbane.
Rich Virsa Bhangra Academy’s dancers bagged the first positions in bhangra as well as giddha. Tulja Dance Academy got the 1st Runner Up position.
The chief guest was Senator Hon. Amanda Stoker, Assistant Minister to the Attorney-General, Assistant Minister for Women, Assistant Minister for Industrial Relations.
Besides giddha and bhangra, to charm and entertain the audience were food stalls and stalls with Punjabi works of art depicting the culture of Punjab.
