The position involves providing a range of home and personal support services, including domestic assistance, social support, personal care, hygiene support and respite care. Candidates with previous experience in aged care are encouraged to apply.
ECCQ is particularly seeking applicants who are passionate about supporting vulnerable people and helping older Australians maintain their independence and quality of life.
Applicants are required to hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support, along with First Aid and CPR certification. A current driver’s licence and access to a suitable vehicle are also required. The ability to speak another language, particularly Spanish, is highly desirable.
Established in 1976, ECCQ has a long history of supporting multicultural communities across Queensland. The organisation says it values diversity and is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for people from all cultural backgrounds.
