Experience Gold Coast is bringing together tourism, education, major events, arts and culture to strengthen the Gold Coast as a destination to visit, study, work, do business and experience.
Featured in the Multicultural Communities Council Gold Coast’s August newsletter as part of its Members Spotlight, Experience Gold Coast was established in 2023 by bringing together Destination Gold Coast, Study Gold Coast, Major Events Gold Coast, HOTA – Home of the Arts, and Placemakers under one organisation.
The organisation aims to drive economic, social and cultural outcomes for the city while building the Gold Coast’s reputation nationally and internationally as the Lifestyle Capital of the World.
Experience Gold Coast supports a broad cross-section of the community, including local businesses, tourism operators, education providers, students, employers, artists, creatives, event organisers, industry associations and community organisations.
It helps attract visitors, students, events and investment, supports local businesses and industries, connects students with employment and development opportunities, and contributes to the city’s arts and cultural sector.
The organisation also works with tourism businesses, education providers, government and community organisations to develop partnerships and initiatives that benefit the broader Gold Coast community.
People can engage with Experience Gold Coast by becoming an industry or education partner, participating in events and programs, collaborating on campaigns and initiatives, attending arts and cultural programs at HOTA, or accessing networking opportunities.
Businesses and organisations can also explore opportunities for collaboration in marketing, education, events and other areas.
Experience Gold Coast is a platform and connector for the city, bringing traditionally separate sectors together. The approach is aimed at strengthening connections across the Gold Coast and supporting the city as a place to live, work, study, visit and do business.
