The Multicultural Communities Council Gold Coast (MCCGC) has recognised the Cura Aged Care team for its contribution to supporting older people and their families on Aged Care Employee Day.
The organisation said the occasion provided an opportunity to thank its aged care workers and acknowledge the compassion, patience, professionalism and kindness they demonstrate in their daily work.
Cura Aged Care staff, including home care workers, service coordinators, administration personnel and other team members, play an important role in supporting seniors and creating a caring, respectful and supportive environment for participants and their families.
MCCGC said aged care requires dedication and a genuine commitment to ensuring older people feel seen, cared for, respected and included.
The organisation also highlighted the work of the Cura team in connecting with multicultural seniors and providing support that responds to their individual needs and circumstances.
MCCGC expressed its appreciation to the team for the difference it makes through its work and for building meaningful connections with multicultural seniors.
The organisation extended its wishes to aged care workers across the sector and particularly acknowledged the Cura Aged Care team for its ongoing contribution to the community.
