The Ukrainian Festival Brisbane 2025 was held recently, marking Ukrainian Independence Day with a vibrant celebration of culture, heritage, and resilience.
Multicultural Australia’s Chief Client Officer, Jo-Ann Cochran, joined hundreds from the community at the event, which highlighted the strength and spirit of Brisbane’s Ukrainian community.
The festival featured traditional dance and music performances, authentic Ukrainian cuisine, colourful market stalls, and activities that brought people together in a spirit of unity. Beyond the celebration, the event also carried a deeper message of cultural pride and solidarity.
The Ukrainian Festival once again reinforced the important role of multicultural events in strengthening Queensland’s diverse social fabric.
