Brisbane, September 17 (MCCQ Newsdesk)
Multicultural Communities Council Gold Coast’s (MCCGC) Care Advisor, Bec, and Senior Care Worker, Johanna, attended the Gold Coast Seniors Health & Lifestyle Expo, an event connecting seniors with aged care service providers and information on health and wellbeing.
Attendees accessed free services including hearing checks, massages, basic legal and financial advice, and general aged care support. These services helped seniors increase their awareness of available resources and make informed decisions about their care.
Direct engagement with seniors also allowed MCCGC staff to gain insights into the needs and challenges of the community they serve. By listening to seniors and providing information about support services, the organisation strengthened its connection with the community and demonstrated its commitment to the wellbeing of older Australians.
