On Wednesday, 18 February 2026, the Community Engagement Team Qld/NT facilitated two roundtables hosted by the Hon Matt Thistlethwaite MP, Assistant Minister for Immigration and Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade.
It was a privilege to help bring together multicultural leaders for robust discussion with the Assistant Minister as diverse perspectives are essential in ensuring that policies and programs are informed by lived experience and based in the realities faced by multicultural communities in Queensland.
